The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Brief Bio

Kenya G. Bledsoe is an Assistant Professor in the Leadership and Counselor Education program at The University of Mississippi. Dr. Bledsoe is a board- certified, licensed professional and supervising counselor in Mississippi and Alabama. Dr. Bledsoe previously worked as a secondary school counselor and possessed 15 years of school counseling experience. Dr. Bledsoe's research interests include school counseling supervision, educational equity for marginalized student groups, and anti-racist school counseling. Dr. Bledsoe has published in numerous peer-reviewed journals, including Professional School Counselor. Dr. Bledsoe has served in multiple leadership roles across national, regional, and state counseling organizations, including Chi Sigma Iota Southern Association for Counselor Association and Supervision / Supervision Interest Network, Association for Assessment and Research and Evaluation / Diversity Inclusion & Social Justice Committee, and Alabama Counseling Association. Presently, she serves on the Evidenced-Based School Counseling Advisory Council and the editorial board for the Professional School Counselor. Dr. Bledsoe is the 2022 ACA Dr. Judy Lewis Counselors for Social Justice Award recipient.
