Brief Bio
Kristine L. Willett is an Professor of Pharmacology and Environmental Toxicology, Chair of the Department of BioMolecular Sciences, and the Graduate Student Coordinator for the Environmental Toxicology Division. She received he PhD from Texas A&M University in 1997, following a BA in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. She completed postdoctoral fellowships at Indiana University and Duke University prior to coming to Ole Miss. Her research interests include using fish models to study mechanisms of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon and cannabinoid toxicity as well as in new dru discovery for cancer and epilepsy. She is an Associate Editor for Toxicologica Sciences. At UM, she teaches both graduate and undergraduate toxicology and environmental toxicology courses and in the Honors College.
