Meg Barnes

Research Interests

Meg Barnes is a Management Instructor and Director of Career Preparation, earning her doctorate in Human and Organizational Psychology from Touro University Worldwide. She is a life-long learner with degrees from Auburn University, Virginia Commonwealth University, and the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Her experiences include healthcare management, organizational behavior, career planning, and competency-based education; her specialties encompass resume writing, interviewing, and negotiating. She co-chairs the University’s Career Council, whose members introduce career pathways and planning, collaborate on programming, and design experiential learning opportunities. Dr. Barnes leans toward project-based learning, simulations, community engagement, and artificial intelligence in crafting and customizing personalized learning.
