UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES

The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Brief Bio

Tony Ammeter joined the Office of the Provost in July of 2015. In his role as Associate Provost, he serves as the Dean of the General Studies Program and the Director of Outreach. His leadership responsibilities include regional campuses, summer school, online education, college and pre-college special programs, and professional development and lifelong learning. He also assists the Provost in a variety of academic matters. Dr. Ammeter holds a joint appointment as an Associate Professor of Management and Management Information Systems in the School of Business Administration, where he previously served as the Associate Dean. He received his PhD in Organization Science from The University of Texas at Austin.
