Angie Stallings works at the Mississippi Geographic Alliance to promote Geography Literacy in classrooms by providing support to teachers and students.
Biography
Angie is a lifelong Mississippian, holding a Master of Public Policy and Administration from Mississippi State University. Her educational foundation also includes a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. She embarked on her career journey at the Mississippi State Treasury Department, where she served as the Director of Marketing for The MPACT Program (MS College Savings Program). Subsequently, she transitioned to the private sector, where she focused on Leadership and Business Development as the CAO of a Small Mississippi Business. It was here that she was recognized as Top 40 under 40 of Mississippi.
Angie’s deep-rooted love for Mississippi is a driving force for her “yes” to the MGA team. Angie discovered through her career she enjoys nurturing the potential of others. She firmly believes that people can achieve so much more when they are led to do so. Angie actively showcases her passion for motivating and influencing others by coaching her children’s sports teams, contributing to various civic boards such as the Mississippi Environmental Education Alliance (MEEA) board, and investing in her community through service.
