Biography
Mr. Andrew (Drew) Robertson is an adjunct instructor in the Department of Management at The University of Mississippi School of Business Administration. He holds his MBA in Strategic Management from Indiana University Kelley School of Business with a Certificate in Global Strategic Management and Leadership from the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School. He also holds his MSS from U.S. Army War College, Carlisle Barracks, Pennsylvania. Drew received a BS in Journalism (Business and Advertising emphasis) from the University of Mississippi. He is recipient of the Institute for Defense & Business (IDB) E.B. Leedy Award, in honor of Major General Leedy, USA (Ret.), for demonstrated leadership during his MBA studies. Drew is executive director of the State of Mississippi agency Tombigbee River Valley Water Management District, and is a business owner in Tupelo, Mississippi, with ventures in government relations, business development, leadership, training, consulting and property. Drew has worked in both state and federal government including on staff for two U.S. Senator; in the private sector for health care, advertising, and a Fortune 25 company; and, has owned his own business in publishing and communications. He also serves as an Army Colonel (COL) in the Mississippi National Guard (Infantry, Cavalry and Sustainment officer) presently assigned as the J9 Officer with Joint Force Headquarters, Mississippi National Guard, Jackson, Mississippi. COL Robertson is a combat veteran mobilized for Operation Iraqi Freedom III, for Operation Enduring Freedom (CONUS Support Base) and in support of the COVID-19 national response. He is a graduate of the U.S. Army Command & General Staff College in Advanced Faculty Development, Advanced Operations Course and Intermediate Level Education.
