Major Bradley Jantz is an Assistant Professor of Aerospace Studies in the Department of Aerospace Studies at the University of Mississippi. He is an education and recruiting officer for the Air Force ROTC program.
Biography
Maj Bradey D. Jantz is responsible for recruiting, educating, training, and commissioning officers in the USAF and USSF.
Maj Jantz commissioned into the Air Force in May 2013 through Air Force ROTC from Oklahoma State University. He completed Nuclear & Missile Operations Training in July 2014, and Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) Pilot Training in June 2016, since then has held a variety of operational and leadership positions in strategic deterrence, intelligence reconnaissance and surveillance (ISR), combat operations, and Air Education and Training Command. He has deployed twice in support of RPA Launch and Recovery Operations for six combatant commands. Prior to his current position, Maj Jantz was the Assistant Director of Operations at the 558th Flying Training Squadron, Joint Base San Antionio-Randolph, TX.
Maj Jantz has more than 2,200 hours on nuclear alert and more than 700 flight hours, including 229 combat hours and 100 combat support hours, in the RQ-4B Global Hawk. In addition, Maj Jantz has more than 1,500 instructor hours as an Undergraduate RPA Training Instructor and AFROTC Instructor in Air Education and Training Command (AETC).
