Biography
Charles M. Hilterbrand, Jr. is an Instructional Assistant Professor of Finance/Real Estate. Dr. Hilterbrand received a J.D. from the University of Akron, an M.B.A. from Kent State University, an LL.M. in Taxation from Case Western Reserve University, and a D.B.A. from the University of South Florida. Dr. Hilterbrand spent the majority of his professional career as a business and real estate attorney. He has served in management and as the owner of several real estate title agencies serving residential, agricultural, and commercial clients. He has also worked extensively in the real estate title area of oil and gas production leasing and easement acquisition projects. At Ole Miss, Dr. Hilterbrand has taught Finance 351 – Principles of Real Estate; Finance 331 – Business Finance I, and General Business 330 – Essentials of Finance.
