Biography
Dr. Kesicia A. Dickinson is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science and the African American Studies Program at the University of Mississippi, where she joined the faculty in the fall of 2023. She holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in Political Science from Michigan State University and a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Jackson State University. Her research and teaching interests focus on the areas of political behavior, political representation, race and ethnic politics, Black politics, gender and politics, and intersectionality.
