Meredith Pyle is an Adjunct Instructor of Management in the Department of Management at the University of Mississippi.
Biography
Meredith Pyle is originally from Cedartown, Georgia. She earned her Bachelor of Accountancy and Master of Accountancy from the Patterson School of Accountancy at the University of Mississippi.
After graduation, Meredith worked in Healthcare Consulting, specializing in Reimbursement and Strategic Planning at Dixon Hughes Goodman. After leaving the public accounting sector, Meredith began working in higher education as an Admissions Counselor for the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy. She was a recruiter for three years before leaving to take a role as an Academic Advisor in the Ole Miss Health Professions Advising Office.
Meredith previously worked in the Health Professions Advising Office where she advised as well as managed social media platforms. Meredith has taught the Health Professions Application Process (LIBA 303), Business Communication (BUS 271), Freshman Year Experience (EDHE 105), and Academic Skills for College (EDHE 101). She was named EDHE 101 Instructor of the Year in 2022.
Meredith enjoys spending her free time running, traveling and crafting. Meredith now resides in Oxford with her dog, Taco.
