Yinan Huang, MS, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor in Pharmacy Administration, and Research Assistant Professor in Research Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Ole Miss.
Research Interests
- My research focuses on generating high-quality evidence for comparative safety and effectiveness of drug treatments, primarily the rheumatology field.
- I have extensively used observational study designs as well as systematic reviews to answer clinically important research questions related to drug effects on a variety of health outcomes.
- I also have a special interest in machine learning methodological research for predictive modelling.
Biography
Dr. Huang received her research doctorate in Pharmacy Administration from the University of Houston and her Master’s in Biotechnology from the New York University. Her research goal is to achieve optimal prescribing in populations with chronic conditions including rheumatoid arthritis using large routine-care collected databases, as well as applying machine learning methods for predictive analytics in health service research.
