Multidisciplinary Studies, B.M.D.S.
Choose three minors to create a major that fits your interests and career goals.

"I was the first person in my family to graduate from a university. Being able to build my own major has opened so many doors for my future career plans."
Carlos Fuentez
2022 MDS graduate from the Ole Miss-Booneville campus (pictured above). He plans to use his minors in education, psychology, and TESOL to travel abroad and work with students learning academic English.
About the Bachelor of Multidisciplinary Studies
Sometimes career goals and academic interests don’t fit neatly into a single major.
The Multidisciplinary Studies degree allows students to combine 3 distinct minors to form one degree. BMDS students can create a personalized academic path that matches their interests and career goals.
Some BMDS students select minors that complement one another and may better prepare them for graduate studies (i.e., pursuing medical school, law school, or an MBA). Others may select minors across various Schools to better align with their future careers (e.g., economics, secondary education, entrepreneurship, or public policy).
