If you are an entering Freshman
An education from the University of Mississippi is an exceptional investment in your future. The Office of Financial Aid at Ole Miss is here to make sure you have all of the information you need to understand the various financial aid programs available.
We offer everything from academic merit-based scholarships to need-based scholarships. Some of our scholarships have different deadlines. To be considered for any scholarship, you must first apply to Ole Miss, then submit the online Special Programs & Scholarship Application. The scholarship section should be completed by the January 10, 2024 deadline.
If you are a current student
In order to renew your Federal financial aid offer annually, you must fill out and submit your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) each year you study at Ole Miss. This process allows us to determine your or your family’s demonstrated need, update our documentation, and put together your financial aid package. If you are a Mississippi resident, you should also fill out the Mississippi State Grant Application each year to be considered for additional grant opportunities.
