Management helps keep university devices secure, reliable, and compliant with institutional security requirements.

Security updates are deployed regularly, with critical updates prioritized as needed.

Device management tools focus on the device's configuration, security, inventory, and software. They are not used to access personal files except when authorized as part of IT support or required by university policy.

Report the loss immediately. The Device Management team can take steps such as locking the device, tracking inventory information where applicable, or remotely wiping university data, depending on the device and management capabilities.

Some software may require approval. Approved applications may be available through self-service or by request.
