Welcome! As a guest of the University of Mississippi it is our hope that your parking experience is a pleasant one. All vehicles parked on the university campus are required to have a parking permit of some type. As a visitor, there are several options when it comes to purchasing your visitor permit for your vehicle.
Online Visitor Passes
Visitor permits may be purchased online and printed ahead of arrival on the University of Mississippi Oxford campus. Permits purchased online are limited to the Daily Rate (see below) only and may be purchased for up to 7 consecutive days on a single purchase. Weekends are included in the 7 day period but are at no cost. Please read below to know where visitors can and cannot park.

Visitor Parking Rates
DAILY-$3 (effective July 2015)
You may purchase a daily permit from the Welcome Center located on University Avenue as you enter the Lyceum Circle, in our main office located at 120 Lester Hall, or online using the link above.
Monthly-$45 (effective July 2015)
This may be purchased in our office at 120 Lester Hall.
Annually-$200 (effective July 2015)
This permit is prorated by time remaining in the permit sale year (July '15 to June '16) and may be purchased in our office at 120 Lester Hall.
Where to Park
Parking Lots - The Lyceum Circle and University Avenue just beyond the Welcome Center are designated visitor parking areas on campus. Visitors with current Visitor Permits may also park in any non-reserved valid parking space in the faculty/staff and/or commuter parking zones based on availability.
Metered Parking - There is also metered parking available at a rate of $1 per hour. Parking meters will be located at the Manning Center and near Martindale Hall and is open to all who choose to pay the meters. Visitors parking at metered locations are not required to purchase a permit but are required to pay for time while parked regardless of the presence of a parking pass.
Garage Parking - A number of spaces within the garage will be designated timed parking. These spaces may be utilized by anyone. The rates for parking in the garage are $2 for the first hour and $1 for each additional hour, up to a $10 maximum charge for a 24-hour period. The garage will accept credit cards only as payment. Visitors parking in the Pavilion Garage are not required to purchase a permit but are required to pay for time while parked regardless of the presence of a parking pass.
