The University's dental insurance plan can help you protect your oral health.

We have partnered with Delta Dental to offer two plan options available for all benefits-eligible faculty and staff, their spouses and dependent children.

When is dental insurance effective? 

Dental insurance is effective the 1st of the month following your hire date or date of eligibility. Orthodontics benefits and major services are effective after 12 months of continuous coverage without a waiver of waiting period.

To request a waiver, send proof of other coverage to Human Resources.

As an enrollee with Delta Dental, you don’t need an ID card. When visiting a Delta Dental Premier or Delta Dental PPO dentist, simply provide your social security or identification number. If you would still like an ID card, you can print a customized ID card on demand by logging into your account.
