As you get closer to retirement, we're here to make the process smooth and easy

The Human Resources team will help guide you through every step, from understanding your retirement plan to the paperwork and final details. We’ll help you know what to expect and answer any questions you might have along the way.

How We Can Help

  • Retirement Consultations: We’ll walk you through the entire retirement process and help you with understanding your retirement plan, completing necessary paperwork and preparing for your new chapter.

  • When to Start: It’s a good idea to begin planning 12 to 18 months before your retirement date. This gives you time to get familiar with the process and make the most of your benefits. If you’re thinking about retirement even earlier, we can start discussions and planning to help you feel prepared.

  • Paperwork and Benefits: We assist with all the required forms, from initial applications to insurance paperwork. While we don’t handle Social Security matters, we’ll explain how your insurance coordinates with Medicare and answer any questions you have.

  • Communicating with Your Department: We will help you understand when and what to communicate with your department so they have time to plan for your departure.

Would you like to meet with us? Contact the HR Benefits team to schedule a consultation.
