Scholarly Journals in Space and Drone Law
The Space and Drone Law Journals provide scholarly insight into the evolving legal and policy frameworks governing outer space activities and aircraft systems.
Journal of Space Law
The Journal of Space Law is the world’s oldest journal devoted to space law. The Journal was published under the leadership of the late Dr. Stephen Gorove in conjunction with the University of Mississippi School of Law from 1973 to 2000. The Center has worked with students at the University of Mississippi School of Law to publish it since 2003.
The Journal of Space Law is provided for research, reference use, and educational purposes only. They are not for commercial use, sale, or further dissemination. The Journal of Space Law may not be reproduced, in part or in whole, without express written permission. All rights reserved.

The Journal of Space Law explores the legal problems arising out of human activities in outer space. Papers addressing all aspects of international and national space law are welcome. Papers that address the interface between aviation and space law or cyber and space law are also welcome.
Authors are invited to submit manuscripts between 8,000 to 15,000 words, and accompanying abstracts, for review and possible publication in the Journal of Space Law. Papers should be properly referenced and cited using The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation (Columbia Law Review Ass’n, et al. eds., 21st ed. 2020).
Please email manuscripts and accompanying abstracts in Microsoft Word to Michelle Hanlon.
