How HPAO Advising Works at Ole Miss

Students should make sure they are registered with HPAO to be assigned an advisor and receive information about HPAO programs and services. Incoming freshmen would indicate the health profession of interest on their UM application. Other students may complete this short online form.

The Health Professions Advising Office (HPAO) is the largest full-service health professions advising office in Mississippi and the southeastern conference (SEC).
Our mission is to counsel UM health professions students on available opportunities for a health care career and advise students towards a competitive application. We take your aspirations and help you to become the best candidate for professional school.
