Biography
Melissa Rodriguez King serves as the Program Manager at the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy’s Office of Research & Graduate Programs. With a strong background in student support and program coordination, she is dedicated to enhancing the graduate student experience through holistic advising, professional development, and inclusive programmatic initiatives.
Melissa holds a Master of Arts in Higher Education/Student Personnel and several years of experience working in student affairs and academic support roles. At the School of Pharmacy, she supports graduate students through personalized advising, coordinates initiatives that foster academic and professional growth, and collaborates closely with faculty and staff to promote student success. She also leads efforts to create targeted programming for student populations and facilitates community-building among graduate students.
Her professional interests include graduate student transition programs and inclusive excellence in higher education. Melissa is known for her student-centered approach, collaborative spirit, and deep commitment to equity and access in graduate education.
