About this Program

The Air Force ROTC Detachment 430 in the College of Liberal Arts offers the Aerospace Studies minor. Students do not have to be in the ROTC program to enroll in the minor.

The Aerospace Studies minor familiarizes students with all aspects of U.S. air and space power. They learn Air Force history, the evolution of air and space power application, and national security affairs and security process. The minor also provides students with skills in leadership, writing and briefing, problem solving, team-building, conflict management, responsibility, and authority.

    Your major + Aerospace Studies

Aerospace Studies can pair with a wide variety of majors on campus. Students in the Air Force ROTC program are encouraged to pursue STEM majors. Non-ROTC students from a wide variety of majors would benefit from more in-depth knowledge of the US Air Force.
