Open Enrollment

Details about the open enrollment process for eligible faculty and staff benefits.

Our Online Open Enrollment is set for the entire month of October, giving you a great opportunity to enroll in or update your benefits

Whether you want to enroll in a new plan, make changes to your existing coverage, or cancel a plan, this is your chance to do so.

From October 1st through October 31st, you can access the system anytime via myOleMiss (My HR Tools) to explore options and complete your enrollment at your convenience.

The system will open for elections starting Tuesday, October 1st, and will close at 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, October 31st. Please note that changes won’t be accepted after this deadline, so make sure to complete your updates in time.

Please note: If you have no changes to make, there is no requirement to resubmit current elections or access the online system at all. Coverage that is active on December 31, 2024 will continue to be active at the same level for plan year 2025.

State Health Plan Rate Increase

Effective January 1, 2025, the State and School Employees' Health Insurance Plan will see a 5% premium rate increase. If you wish to adjust your coverage—such as adding or removing family members, switching between the Select and Base plan options, or adding/dropping coverage—those changes must be made during Open Enrollment.

The 2024 and 2025 premium rates are available for review on the Plan's website.
