CAA Accreditation Public Meeting
The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Mississippi invites students, alumni, faculty, staff, university personnel, clients and families, community professionals, employers, and other interested members of the community to attend a public meeting as part of the upcoming accreditation site visit for the Master of Science program in Speech-Language Pathology.

Public Meeting with the CAA Site Visit Team
Monday, October 12, 2026 at 5pm
South Oxford Center, North Entrance | CSD Speech and Hearing Clinic | Room NE 1312
We welcome and encourage interested members of our university and broader community to attend.
The public meeting provides an opportunity to meet with members of the CAA site visit team and share observations, experiences, and comments related to the program's compliance with the CAA's Standards for Accreditation.
Those unable to attend may submit written comments directly to the Council on Academic Accreditation prior to the site visit.

National Student Speech Language and Hearing Association
The University of Mississippi’s chapter of NSSLHA, National Student Speech Language and Hearing Association, is accredited by the American Speech and Hearing Association, and is affiliated with the National NSSLHA. NSSLHA members show their support for the Oxford-Lafayette community each year by hosting food and toy drives, providing tutoring free of charge, advocating for causes such as apraxia and autism awareness, and reaching out to Mississippi legislators in regard to accessibility for individuals with communication disorders.
