Fitness Facilities

Faculty and staff can get a membership for Campus Recreation facilities for as little as $5 a month. These facilities include the South Campus Recreation Center and the Turner Center, which offer extensive fitness spaces, including fitness studios, a climbing wall, an indoor pool, basketball courts, racquetball/squash courts, an indoor walking and jogging track and so much more.

Walking Trails

If you are looking to get some exercise outdoors, try one of our walking trails located on and around campus. The South Campus Rail Trail can be found just south of Highway 6 and just west of Chucky Mullins Drive. The Bailey Woods Trail links Rowan Oak, William Faulkner’s historic home, to the University Museum.
