The University of Mississippi has generous scholarships available specifically for international students! International also may qualify for other special scholarships.

International students can apply through the UM admissions applications or through Common App. Click below to advise your students on their application.

UM has over 200+ programs. Students can choose a major based on their interests, and they can change their major any time! Academic advisors keep students on track toward degree progress and their career goals.

The university and Oxford, Miss., where UM calls home, are both safe for study and living. Home to 25,000 residents, Oxford is a caring community, deeply connected to the campus and its students.

Traditional residence halls, contemporary residence halls, and apartment-style living are all available on the UM campus. Students are easily able to walk from their housing to their classes, or they can take the free city bus!

Three major cafeterias serve Ole Miss students, but food is available across campus at PODs (convenience stores) and the Student Union. Students can find a variety of options and have a meal plan so they are always full!
