INTERNATIONAL STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS

The University of Mississippi has generous scholarships specifically for international undergraduate students. Additionally, international students can apply for some special programs and scholarships.

 

International Academic Excellence Scholarships

All scholarships for International Academic Excellence are AUTOMATIC.

This means applicants do not to need to submit any supplemental materials or start a separate application. 

If you are eligible for one of our scholarships, once you have been accepted for admission to the University of Mississippi, you will receive an award letter based on your GPA and English proficiency score.

academic Excellence SCHOLARSHIPS

Academic excellence scholarships are for undergraduate international students only. The awards are based on Grade Point Average (GPA) on the U.S. scale. GPA is the sum of all course grades divided by the total number of credits. Most high schools report grades on a 4.0 scale. The top grade A equals 4.0.

Other Scholarship Opportunities

ACT & SAT Scholarships

Students with very high scores may be eligible for additional scholarship funds, and strong performance on the SAT/ACT can waive some math pre-requisites. UM's school code is 1840.
