Faculty/Staff
You must register your vehicle and order your permit online. Permits for the 2024-2025 academic year will be available online beginning in July 2024. For information about the start of permit sales for the various permit types <CLICK HERE>. Parking permits for Faculty/Staff will be Virtual permits. No physical decal or hangtag will be issued. The registered vehicle’s license plate will serve as a link to the permit so the license plate must be kept up-to-date. Please note that Faculty/Staff permits will not be recognized on home football game weekends.
Faculty/Staff have the option of purchasing the following hangtags:
- Traditional
- Pavilion Garage
- Retired
- Reserved Parking
- Motorcycles
- Bicycles
- Special Parking Accommodations
Payroll deduction is available for all benefits eligible Faculty/Staff. Payroll deductions will be over a 9 month period in 18 payments.
Payroll Deduction for permits costs will be PRE-TAX starting with permits purchased after July 1st, 2020.
What does this change mean to me?
Effective July 1, 2020, all parking permits that are payroll deducted will be a pre-tax deduction. Due to this change, the parking permit costs will now be excluded from the income amount used to calculate Federal Income Tax, Social Security tax, and Medicare tax withholdings.
Please note that utilizing payroll deduction to pay for a parking permit allows an employee to pay for the annual parking permit in 18 payments over 9 months without having to pay the total upfront.
