(and Why It Matters to You)
We’re upgrading the systems behind the scenes at Ole Miss to make your day-to-day student life smoother. Two new platforms, Banner and Workday, are replacing older systems (myOleMiss) to give you a better, more modern experience.
Think fewer logins, fewer steps, and everything you need in one place. Plus, the new systems will be mobile-friendly! These upgrades are part of Encompass, a campus-wide effort to make technology work for you.

Experience: Your New Student Platform
Starting early 2026, you’ll begin using Experience, powered by Ellucian. This will be your main home base for nearly everything you do as a student.
At first, only a few tools will be available in Experience to help you register for Fall 2026 classes. As we get closer to the fall semester, more features will open, supporting your classes, campus life, and beyond.
You’ll eventually use Experience to register for classes, view your degree progress, check financial aid, connect with your advisor, and much more—all from one modern, mobile-friendly dashboard!
Experience is designed to grow with you throughout your time at Ole Miss, so everything you need to stay on track is just a click away.
A New Hub for Student Jobs
If you work on campus (or want to), Workday is where you’ll find every available student job starting January 2, 2026.
In Workday, you'll be able to search and apply for jobs in one place, start working faster through a more streamlined hiring process, and experience a more intentional onboarding process.
It’s a simpler, more transparent way to find opportunities and get to work, and we can’t wait to share this new experience with you in the new year.
